UDS Notice on Student Fees for 2020/2021 Academic Year

The University wishes to clarify the issue of the fee schedule for the 2020/2021 academic year for continuing students.

The University wishes to state categorically that it has neither increased nor reduced the fees for continuing students. The fees are the same as the last three academic years.

It is to be noted that the University fees are ordinarily fixed, upon approval by Parliament. There was a 5% cumulative upward adjustment of the fees approved by Parliament in the 2019/2020 academic year. The University could not, however, implement this because the approval was received in the course of the academic year.

For the 2020/2021 academic year, because of its flat fee policy, under which there is the yearly fee for each year group, the University has not increased the fees for its continuing students. It means therefore that the fees for the continuing students remain at the same rate as the last three academic years.

The above supersedes any previously published or circulated information on the fees for continuing students for the 2020/2021 academic year.

This information has been duly communicated to the student leadership.

We apologise to students, parents and other stakeholders for the earlier error published on our website.
