Responsibilities
• Ensure prompt and accurate entries of all remittances in Software
• Ensure prompt and accurate pairing of all remittances in Software
• Ensure accurate monthly statements are sent to partners promptly
• Undertake quarterly reconciliation of balances with partners
• Produce a quarterly schedule of outstanding balances for the Supervisor’s review
• Produce a reliable aging analysis of partner balances
• Assist in developing a credit control policy for the company
• Assist in setting and monitoring credit limits for partners
• Ensure demand letters are sent to partners who do not adhere to payment terms
• Ensure reconciliation of partner balances in technical and accounting software
• Produce a monthly report on the activities of the credit control unit
• Ensure prompt collection of outstanding balances to minimize impairment provision
• Any other duty that may be relevant to the performance of the credit control function
Qualification/Experience
• Must be a Chartered Accountant
• Relevant University degree plus a minimum of six (6) years of work experience including two years in a managerial position or
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the insurance industry.

• Excellent knowledge of the use of computer software (SicsNT and Sun)
• Good Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards

Responsibilities
• Responsible for Head office payroll and the relevant statutory deductions
• Prepares payroll summaries and posts monthly journals into the Sun system.
• Update monthly staff loans and other salary-related schedules and agree same to the general ledger
• Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements for assigned banks
• Prepare accounts and update ledgers for Staff Common Fund
• Prepare liquidity report for supervisor’s review
• Produce a schedule of sundry creditors, accruals, and sundry debtors and agree same to General Ledger.
• Assist in the management of the company’s investment portfolio and investment income
• Assist in the checking of prepared payment vouchers
• Assist in the preparation of final account
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget
• Assist in the Internal and External Audit of the finance department
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly SDR to NIC
• Assist in the handling of GOGIP financials
• Review monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements for assigned
Qualification/Experience
