Job Title: Chief Finance Assistant
Job Location: Kumasi
Functions
• Ensures that funds mobilized are properly lodged with the bank and returns submitted accordingly
• Checks all duplicate receipts, cash books and ledgers to ascertain and ensure that entries have been properly captured
• Performs routine accounting duties with include direct supervision of the work of subordinate officers
• Prepare vouchers for payment of wages and allowances to staff at the end of each month
• Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Qualification Required & Experience
• A minimum of a higher National Diploma from an accredited tertiary institution Accounting of Financial Management
• A minimum of 4 years post qualification relevant work experience in a reputable organisation
• Must pass a competitive selection interview conducted by the council in consultation with the Public Service Commission
Job Description
Job Title: Office Assistant
Job Location: Kumasi
Functions
• Undertakes daily sweeping, cleaning and dusting of offices, janitorial, yard and the entire environment of the council
• Develops and maintains the landscape and lawns of the council
• Collects correspondence from the post office and other organisations as may be directed
• Dispatches letters and documents to various individuals, institutions and organisations
• Conveys office equipment / materials / documents form one place to another within the council’s facilities
• Loads and off loads goods / materials / documents from one place to another within the council’s facilities
• Loads and off loads goods / materials / equipment from stores, vehicles etc
• Runs photocopies in the council
• Undertakes basic errands in the council
• Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Qualification Required & Experience
• A minimum of BECE with good ethical background

Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Finance Officer
Functions
• Prepares draft annual budget and financial statements in accordance with approved standards
• Collects data for the analyses of financial transactions, recording and keeping the books of accounts
• Checks all financial documents before payment are affected and ensures that details are properly entered into the appropriate ledgers
• Drafts reports on the performance of the section to the Principal Accountant
• Provides technical guidance and directives to team members in line with the set objectives of the finance department
• Designs and maintains effective accounting and internal control systems
• Drafts technical reports on the performance of the section
• Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Qualification Required & Experience
• Part 11 of the institute of chartered accountants, Ghana (ICA) or a professional accounting body recognised by ICA Ghana
OR
• A minimum of 2 years post qualification relevant work experience in a reputable organisation

Job Title: Chief IT Assistant
Functions
• Coordinates the installation of all I.T equipment and systems
• Supervise the repair, upgrading and maintenance of all I.T equipment, systems and resources
• Directs and assists staff in the provision of user support for I.T infrastructure and systems
• Provides technical support for all I.T infrastructure and systems
• Inspects and validates newly procured I.T equipment and systems
• Compiles and monitors I.T warranty and service level agreements with all I.T solution providers
• Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Qualification Required & Experience
• An HND / University Diploma or its equivalent in I.T from an accredited institution
• A minimum of 6 years post qualification relevant work experience with a reputable organisation

Functions
• Drafts reports on activities of the Council in the region
• Takes custody of all files
• Ensures prompt distribution/dispatch of mails
• Supervises the general management of the registry
• Initiates action and advises on matters relating to the welfare of staff
• Facilitates the organization of meetings
• Maintains efficient confidential registry
• Receives, screen and transfers telephone enquiries
• Receives visitors / clients
• Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time\
Qualification Required & Experience
• A minimum of a First Degree in Business Administration, Social Science or relevant field from an accredited tertiary institution
• Must have completed 1 year National Service
• Must pass a competitive selection interview conducted by the council in consultation with the public services commission
Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Administrative Officer 1
Functions
• Oversees the day-to-day activities of all auxiliary staff and evaluate their performance
• Facilities in the planning and implementation of an efficient and reliable transport system to ensure orderliness
• Coordinates the establishment and maintenance of fixed assets register to take invetory of all assets of the council and ensure their disposal or replacement within laid down regulation and rules
• Organizes all meetings, seminars, workshops and conferences required to support all departments of the council
• Assists in the development of draft reports on all activities of the department concerning administration
• Undertakes regular inventory of all vehicles, logistics and equipment of the council and implementation plans for her maintenance and repairs
• Identifies the training needs of subordinate staff and recommend appropriate training
• Undertakes staff performance appraisal of subbordinates in the development
• Provides input into the annual budget of the service
• Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Functions
• Provide training and capacity building of registered architects/ draughtsmen/technicians on new and modern architectural practices
• Formulates educational curricula that best fits the architectural practices in consultation with tuition providers
• Makes inputs in the development of resource mobilization strategies for programmes and projects of the department
• Facilitates the registration of Architects/Draughtsmen/Technicians and the publication of such registers
• Develops systems to generate data on all architects.
Qualification Required & Experience
• A minimum of PG Dip in Architecture from an accredited tertiary institution
• A master’s degree will be an advantage
• A postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration and/or Management
• A qualified and registered architect with a minimum of 7 years post qualification relevant working experience, 2 years of which should be in a senior management position
• Evidence of participation in continuing professional development programmes organized by the ARC/GIA and relevant bodies
• Must pass a competitive selection interview conducted by the council in consultation with the Public Services Commission
