Private Schools urged parents to Expedite Payment of fees.

The Jaman South Chairman of Private Schools Association in the Brong Ahafo Region ,Mr. Philip Asuako  has urge parents to pay their wards fees to make their work effective and interesting.

Mr. Philip Asuako made this revelation during the 2016/2017 academic Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) meeting of the St. Theresa’s Preparatory School at Drobo.

He emphasized on the nerd to expedite payment of fees to enable school authorities to provide the necessary facilities for the various Private Schools.

Private Schools in Ghana, most especially at the Basic Education level have been competitive in recent times providing a excellent Pupils with good grades at the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

The Private Schools have produced brilliant Pupils based on their teaching strategies and methodologies which many described as only Examination Oriented.

Many wealthy citizens send their wards to private schools at the Basic level to acquire quality education.

The introduction and Implementation of the Free Compulsory and Universal Basic Education (FCUBE) Policy in 2005 even  boosted the existence of the Private Basic Schools due to the inability of governments to successfully  adhere to the doctrines of the policy.

Meanwhile, the implementation of the Free Senior High School Policy by the Akuffo Addo has been described by the leadership of Private Schools in the Second Cycle institutions as a threat to their survival.

Other Educationists believed that the Private Schools can capitalize on the problems encountered by the Free SHS program to rebrand themselves.
