Job Title: General Manager – Life Insurance
The ideal candidate will have experience leading a Life Insurance business into profitability and sustainability through exceptional leadership and hold overall accountability for establishing a competitive management structure. The incumbent will be a result-driven individual with a strong sales and marketing experience necessary to thrive in a fast-paced Life Insurance industry.
Responsibilities
- Driving high level of operational and business excellence.
- Providing leadership and direction to senior managers and the overall business.
- Leveraging IT and technology as a tool to drive business development and unlock new opportunities.
- Ensuring continuous talent management and staff performance.
- Driving a positive Total Shareholder Return across the business.
Qualifications
- Qualified Certified Insurer with over 10years of relevant industry experience. Three (3) years should be in a management capacity.
- Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams for success and drive profitability.
- Comfort working with budgets, revenue and forecasting.
- Strong communications skills – Both written and oral
