Maternal Adolescent & Child Health (MatCH) is a division of the Wits Health Consortium under the School of Public Health of the University of the Witwatersrand. MatCH is a consortium partner implementing the EQUIP project. EQUIP is an international grant to implement projects in five key solution areas – innovative models of ART service delivery; innovative approaches to support viral load scale-up; strategies and technologies to more effectively identify and link patients to treatment,
foster ongoing adherence and retention; identify approaches that respond to the needs of key populations and promising “Test and Start” strategies in countries in Africa, South East Asia and the Caribbean.
Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager M&E – REF: 0933
The main purpose of the job is to support the management of EQUIPS’s Monitoring and Evaluation activities.
The incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of monitoring and evaluation, including implementation plans, overseeing staff, data quality, drafting and updating M&E plans, reviewing data, reporting and operations research.
This position will also provide logistics and planning support to the clinical teams.
The incumbent will also liaise with internal and external stakeholders and support capacity-building activities for data management and utilization.
Required Skills or Experience
Driving license and willingness to travel within regions,
5 years’ experience in M&E.
