About Scholarship
Lingnan University offers full Scholarships (covering tuition, hostel, and partial academic and living expenses to all successful applicants. Each Scholarship is provided on an annual renewable basis and is tenable for up to the normative duration of study, subject to continued outstanding academic performance.

Lingnan University offers various scholarships to support high-caliber non-local students to pursue full-time UGC-funded (Government-funded) undergraduate studies at the University. Successful applicants will be awarded one of the following scholarships:
- Full Scholarship (covering tuition, hostel, and partial academic and living expenses)
- Half Scholarship
- Full-tuition Scholarship
- Half-tuition Scholarship
The Scholarship will be awarded subject to availability, successful applicants in Early Round will be notified in January. As such, applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
Applicants for self-financed undergraduate programs are not eligible for scholarships.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Lingnan University Non-local Student Scholarships, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:
- Applicants must be international students
- Applicants for undergraduate studies
- Applicants must be ready for a full-time program
- Applicants must have proof of English Language proficiency.
- Applicants who have good academic standing and a good track record in community services
Application Procedures
How-to-Apply: To apply for admission to UGC-funded (Government-funded) undergraduate programmes, Please apply via Online Admission System by creating ONE application account and submitting online applications. Please select “Self-financed Programmes” in the “Application Type” section.
There is no limit on the number of programme choice(s) for application for admission to self-financed undergraduate programmes. Applicants can apply for both UGC-funded and self-financed undergraduate programmes at the same time in ONE application account.
