Job Title: Accountant

Knights Ghana Limited is searching for an Accountant for immediate employment.

Job Purpose

The primary function of this role to is carry out the day-to-day accounting of the company to keep in line with set practice and prudent reporting on all used funds

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain all accounts of the company with Tally software.
  • Prepare all regulatory accounts to ensure compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements in line with GRA. Keep records of all expenses made by the company and prepare weekly banking/cash reconciliations for management.
  • Prepare payment request approvals and provide supplier payment report on all Purchases.
  • Prepare fonts and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping and manage all SSNIT and 2nd Tier contribution payments for all employees registered under the scheme.

Skills and Attributes

  • Degree in Accounting
  • A charter status in Accounting or at least an ACCA part II.
  • 5 years of work experience and belonging to a professional accounting body is preferred

 

Job Title: Finance Officer

Knights Ghana Limited is searching for a Finance Officer for immediate employment.

The purpose of this position

The primary function of this role to carry out the day-to-day financial tasks by tracking and reporting on all finance related matters

Responsibilities;

  • Manage the activities of the accounts, prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement of the company
  • Ensure finance and accounting records are maintained in compliance with General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and sound finance policies and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly, quarterly and year-end reports by the set date agreed by the company
  • Responsible for managing all financial i transactions record into Tally and provide periodic reports to management.
  • Analyse financial data and provide report ter management and stakeholder
  • Implement procedures of receiving certificates and payment procedure.
  • Perform any other functions as it may be given to you by the CEO and the Board Chairman

Skills and Attributes:

  • Qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA (Gh), ACCA. CIMA, CPA).
  • Experience in the use of Accounting software with Tally System advantage
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations

The following will be considered as added advantage

  • Significant managerial experience, ideally in medium-sized construction company and demonstrate commitment to integrity and right practices
