JOB TITLE: SOUS Chef, Cook

Responsibilities

  • Support Chef to plan and manage food preparation.
  • Cook food to the highest restaurant standards of quality and taste.
  • Ensure great presentation and garnishing of food.
  • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  • Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages.

COOK (Role)

  • Support Sous Chef to prepare food to the highest standard.
  • Ensure great presentation and garnishing of food.
  • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
  • Perform any other functions assigned by Manager or Sous Chef.

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate must:

  • Possess a minimum of HND or any other relevant qualification.
  • Show commitment to teamwork.
  • Have practical work experience
  • Knowledge of pastries preparation is an advantage.
  • Must be willing to work flexible schedules.
  • M Eatery does not use artificial flavours so you must be able to use only natural spices to prepare delicious meals both local and continental.
