Job Title: Chief Sales Officer
Job Summary
• Reporting to the CEO, the role holder will be responsible for the management of the entire sales department and overseeing all sales-related activities.
• The role holder will be overseeing the day-to-day creation of sales strategies and ensure the most efficient implementation and adaption of upcoming group sales strategy.
Core Responsibilities
• Develop and execute business strategies to deliver growth in accordance with the local and international strategic plans in liaison with the CEO and Emerging Markets Chief Sales Officer
• Work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop the marketing plans and establish the special tests sales strategy
• Implement national sales programme by developing field sales action plans to keep the company competitive and innovative and monitor effectiveness
• Monitor and drive the delivery of revenue targets for the company and set key performance indicators for all Regional Sales Managers and Supervisors in line with budget and agreed marketing plans
• Develop and recommend product positioning and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share
• Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and area of proposed client base expansion to management and Group CSO
• Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identify
• Perform any additional duties that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in a related field
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
• Healthcare industry knowledge on trends the influences for our customer base
• In-depth understanding of the full range of laboratory products and services or willing to learn
• In-depth understanding of the laboratory industry, operating structures and interface with other medical facilities and regulatory agencies or willing to learn
• A good understanding of online sales and marketing practices and executions
• Good understanding and use of Teleconferencing methods and tools
• Proficient in the use of MS product especially MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Must have great interpersonal and relationship skills and ability to coach and develop a team of professionals in their respective areas
• Ability to develop a budget, monitor budget performance and review
• Strong business and financial acumen, ability to manage contracts, solutions, develop and manage budgets and sales targets
• Demonstrates superior time management skills and meeting sales deadlines
• Strong people management and people development capabilities
• Strategies thinking with a strong business acumen
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to provide superior customer service

Job Title: Marketing Manager
Job Summary
• Reporting to the CEO and a matrix reporting line to the Emerging Market
• Chief Marketing Officer, the role holder is to implement marketing strategy and plans in the country. Also responsible for promoting the company brand.
Core Responsibilities
• Manage all marketing activities for the company and own the company brand for the country
• Developing the marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives
• Coordinate marketing campaigns and promotional activities with the sales department
• Oversee the company’s marketing budget and plans
• Develop and maintain an online (i.e social media) pressure for client’s business in coordination with EM Group policies and strategy
• Responsible for the creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans
• Plan and implement marketing and promotional campaigns using all media (e.g print, social media, etc)
• Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results
• Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives
• Identify locations to build a Blood Collection Point (BCP) in each major city in all the regions of Ghana
• Work with contractor’s to renovate and/or rebuild the location to meet company standards etc
• Work with other departments to ensure consistency of the look and feel of the company’s locations in Ghana
• Put processes in place to ensure that all material, whether specifically related to marketing (e.g campaign material) or not (e.g letters to customers) conform to brand standards. Brand standards include visual identity. No deviations should be allowed
• Responsible for ensuring that any commercial sponsorship opportunity is evaluated for commercial viability (relying on the Head of Marketing in the Group Office where necessary) and that the opportunity aligns with the company brand objectives
• Provide support to the country CEO/as a champion for the brand and visual identity requirements, challenging senior management on any deviations that arise
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, communications or similar,
• Membership with chartered institute of Marketing, Ghana or Chartered Marketer
• Detailed understanding of propositions, products and local market dynamics in the laboratory industry or willing to learn
• At least 2 years demonstrated experience in executing marketing activities
• Experience of delivering client communications material and/or campaigns in the laboratory services industry
• Awareness of regulatory requirements related to brands, trademarks, general communications etc
• A good understanding of online sales and marketing practices and executions
• Good understanding and use of Teleconferencing methods and tools
• Proficient in the use of MS product especially MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Must have great interpersonal and relationship skills and ability to coach and develop a team of professionals in their respective areas
• Ability to develop a budget, monitor budget performance and review
• Detailed understanding of competitive positioning
• Ability to relate and influence stakeholders of all levels
• Ability to work deadlines with proven time management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strategic outlook and a natural marketing ability
