Job Title: Key Account Manager
To develop, expand and transform formal off-trade accounts whiles managing, motivate and leading a team of merchandisers to deliver called out volumes, profit and service in line with the F19 strategy.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
A University degree or Post-Graduate with at least 3 years’ Sales Experience in FMCG
Computer literate and ability to work under pressure and respond to tight deadlines
Demonstrate a successful track record in terms of market share capture, market penetration, brand building, customer service and satisfaction, and volume growth.
Ideally able to demonstrate successes in leading, building and developing a team.
Strong communication, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Valid driving license with at least 2 years driving experience
Joined Up business plan with key accounts to deliver on called out KPIs
Monitor and track performance progress and hold monthly performance review sessions with key accounts
Set clear performance management metrics for each Merchandises within the shops and ensure they are achieved in line with the JUBP
Leading the Business growth agenda at the outlet level in line with set targets
Ensure partners deliver to the contractual terms of GGBL
Ensure that ARtC is embedded, executed and implemented in full at the in all Shops
Recruit, retain & motivate talented merchandisers to drive performance
Build and develop sustainable relationship with partners within the off-trade to grow our mutual business.
Ensuring the shop attendants capability development and performance against the defined execution standards (PfG and Gold Standards)
Use the COBC and H&S policies as standards to guide business operations
Daily / Weekly / Monthly scheduled appointments with accounts defined in the sales processes manual.
Ensure a formal monthly performance review with Key stakeholders
Journey planning for self and a comprehensive schedule for merchandisers to ensure optimal output.
Ensure Month Volume Targets are achieved
Build amazing relationships with accounts to deliver on business objectives
Build the Structured Selling capabilities ensuring that sales reps execute the 8 steps of the call with every customer, use the 6 selling tools effectively and are proficient using the persuasive selling structure
Ensures all orders are delivered on time per the service level agreement on the direct depot.
Execute and implement all KPIs agreed on JUBP including;
Supports the induction process by delivering training for all new starters
Review reports of the performance and achievement of accounts versus targets monthly
Run reports to understand to understand account performances and analyze trends to inform business decisions.
