GES-YEA School Support Programme Application 2024/2025

The Ghana Education Service (GES) – YEA School Support Programme recruitment application for 2024/2025 is ongoing.

In line with the mandate of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) to create jobs for the unemployed youth of Ghana, the Agency in partnership with the Ghana Education Service (GES) seeks to recruit about 7.730 young Ghanaians from various districts of the country to be trained and deployed to Senior High Schools under the Schools’ Support Programme.

The School Support Programme is a school base support programme aimed at ensuring the health and safety of students and staff f the various SHSs in the country.

YEA will use part of its fund allocation to fund the two employment streams under the programme namely:

• School guards/Security Assistants (SAs)
• Kitchen Assistants (KAs)

Objectives

The programme will seek to among other objectives;

1. Promote the health and safety of students and staff of various High Schools.

2. Create a supportive and orderly environment conducive for educational activities.

3. Augment the staff strength of the current security and pantry staff of the various schools across the country.

Ages from 18-35 years.

Minimum Qualifications

Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE0.
