Colleges of Education 2024/2025 Admission Forms to Be Out in March

The Admission forms for all Public Colleges of Education are expected to be released in April this year.

The Application shall be done online and applicants are expected to buy the application e-voucher and apply online.


LATEST UPDATE: As of the time of publication, the University of Colleges of Education mature access form for the 2024/2025 academic year is not yet out. This post is intended to serve as a guide to prospective applicants.


For a Successful application, Applicants are advised to read to ensure they fully understand all related instructions before completing the application form.

Applicants are to note that application forms not properly completed will not be processed.

After completing the online application form, an applicant will need to print a copy which should be sent with one passport photograph and a copy/copies of their results slips (where available) by EMS priority envelope obtainable from
Ghana Post nationwide and addressed to The Principal of the COLLEGE chosen.

Applicants will be notified of the receipt of their applications by SMS (text message) and should therefore provide correct and reliable cell phone numbers when completing the form online.

Applicants will also receive admission offer notifications by SMS and those who do not receive such notifications may understand it to mean that their applications were not successful.

Applicants are to note that the Colleges
will cross-check and verify the results of all
applicants from the West African
Examinations Council.

Applicants found to have submitted fake or falsified documents in support of their applications will be made to face the legal
consequences of their actions.

Meanwhile,applicants are expected to note the reviewed Entry Requirements by the National Council for Tertiary Education which started from the 2017/18 Academic Year under the New Reforms for Colleges of Education

The National Council for Tertiary Education in Consultation with the National Accreditation Board has revised the entry requirements for Admission to Diploma in Basic Education Programmes inthe Colleges of Education in Ghana.The requirements will be used for subsequent years until there is a review.

The requirements are as follows;

WASSCE ENTRY REQUIREMENT

Applicants must have Credits (A1-C6) in Five (5) SUBJECTS, comprising Three (3) Core Subjects including English language and Mathematics,and Two (2)Elective Subjects relevant to the program chosen.

2. SSCE ENTRY REQUIREMENT

Applicants must have Credits (A-D) in Five (5) SUBJECTS, comprising Three (3) Core Subjects including English language and Mathematics,and Two (2)Elective Subjects relevant to the program chosen.

3. TVET ENTRY REQUIREMENT

Applicants must have Credits in Five (5) SUBJECTS, comprising Three (3) Core Subjects including English language and Mathematics,and Two (2)Elective Subjects relevant to the program chosen.
