  • Visit http://chase.com/
  • Provide your login credentials.
  • On your dashboard, click on the icon in the top left corner that looks like a column of lines.
  • A menu will pop up along the left sidebar of your screen.
  • Navigate and click on “Application Status” to access the current status of your Chase credit card application.

How to Check Your Chase Credit Card Application Status by Phone

You can check the status of your Chase credit card application by calling 800-432-3117 for personal cards or 800-453-9719 for business cards.

When prompted to say why you’re calling, say “application status”. Thereafter, say or type the last 4 digits of your SSN when asked. Also, provide your zip code and then listen to your application status.

Meaning of Chase Credit Card Status

30 Days Status Message

2 Weeks Status Message

7-10 Days Status Message

A 7-10 day message typically means that your application has been denied.

You can either wait for the rejection letter or call Chase reconsideration line at 1-888-270-2127 and plead your case.

In some situations, Chase merely needs to verify some of your information. For example, if you recently moved or something on your application did not match your credit report.

For business cards, Chase will likely request business records or ask further questions about your business operations.
