Job Title: Logistics and Transport Manager
Responsibilities
- Strategic planning and management of logistics, inventory, warehouse and transportation operations.
- Maintaining receiving, storage, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programme, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Keeping track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency of operations.
- Planning transport routes and processing cargo shipments.
- Meeting cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
- Achieving financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Supervising, coaching, training and monitoring warehouse and logistics workforce
- Maintaining metrics and analyzing data to assess performance and implement improvements
- Complying with laws, regulations and ISO requirements.
