The British Council in Sub Saharan Africa has an opportunity for an experienced Human Resources professional to support country operations in Ghana, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Cameroon. The postholder will be responsible for providing British Council staff based in West Africa Cluster with advice and services on a range of HR issues and support the achievement of operational goals.

The Role Purpose:

To contribute to the smooth running of the British Council’s project, arts and exams operations in Ghana by delivering high-quality customer service and sales targets as part of a larger team that is in line with corporate standards and policies. The postholder will be the main point of contact for visitors, providing information about our services, counseling customers to ensure they make the right decisions regarding products and services and ensure enquiries are converted into sales.

Location: Kumasi, Ghana

Some key role requirements include: 

  • University Degree, HND, Professional Diploma
  • Marketing or Customer Service Qualification desirable
  • A good level of spoken and written English at Proficiency Level B2
  • At least two years working in reputable customer service and/or sales environment
  • Knowledge of SAP and CRM desirable
