Job Description

Job Title: Senior Corporate Finance & Research Analyst

Job Location: Accra

Job Summary

• Research, compile, analyze, interpret and prepare data on economic conditions in Ghana
• Analyze and assess budgets and policies of government of Ghana to predict its likely socio-economic impact on the target group of the policies
• Prepare market and industry research reports highlighting key issues, trends and outlook of the banking, insurance, investment and health care sectors
• Evaluate OMO policies, rate structure, cost of money, rates of return and other economics parameters of both local and international economies and their likely impact on the macro-economics indicators and the investment landscape
• Conduct feasibility studies and write concept documents on prospective projects in various industries
• Prepare business valuation and financial models to be incorporated in offer documents
• Prepare offer documents to raise funds from the primary or secondary equity and debt markets
• Prepare annual economic, industrial and sectoral performances

Qualification Required & Experience

• Not less than 7 years in related positions in an investment bank
• MPhil, MBA or EMBA in Economics, Finance, Statistics and Mathematics
• GSI Certificate
• Partly or qualified CFA is an advantage
• Membership of a professional body is an advantage

 

Job Description

Job Title: Investment Officer

Job Location: Accra

Job Summary

• Ensure the day to day professional management of the investment portfolio funds (i.e Mutual Funds, Wealth Management, Pension Funds, etc)
• Attend Investment Committee meetings and to formulate strategies to implement decisions of the investment committee
• Promote best practice and ensure reporting requirements, investment guidelines and compliance to regulations of SEC, GSE and FIC are met
• Ensure the daily computation of the NAV and fund prices to ensure accurate purchases and sales of shares
• Review draft agreements (e.g Commercial Papers,etc) and periodically SLAs with other market players and external advisers like custodians, administrators, placement houses, banks and advise appropriately to ensure professional delivery of services
• Ensure clients investment statements are instantly and accurately updated and reconciled to funds NAV to ensure accurate position of company’s AUM
• Any other assignment by your supervisor or MD

Qualification Required & Experience

• Not less than 7 years working experience in related positions in an investment bank
• MPhil, MBA or EMBA in Economics, Finance, Statistics and Mathematics
• GSI Certificate
• Partly or qualified CFA is an advantage
• Membership of a professional body is an advantage

Skills

• Advance ability to use PPT for presentations
• Working knowledge in Excel
• Must have passion to achieve the best returns for investors in the market
• Must be licensed by SEC as investment officer
• Working knowledge of SEC, GSE and FIC regulations

Job Title: Senior Research Analyst

Job Summary

• Prepare reports tracking the performances of the Ghana Stock exchanges that impact financial and investment decisions
• Investigate and prepare equity specific reports on companies listed on the stock market OTC equities
• Assist in the valuation and performances of securities advising on the actions to take as to hold, buy or sell
• Prepare financial due diligence on SALs, MFIs, Banks, and other placement house to aid investment decisions
• Assist in the analysis of budgets and their immediate and future impact on the investment and financing decisions
• Assist in the preparation of offer documents to raise funds from the primary or secondary equity and fixed income analysis to aid investment committees decision

Qualification Required & Experience

• Not less than 3 years working experience in related positions in an investment bank

Job Title: Business Development Officer

Job Location: Accra

Job Summary

• Identify opportunities for new products and services development of asset management company (wealth management, mutual funds, pensions, etc), that will lead to expansion of the AUM and client base of the company
• Assist the brands office to develop flyers, campaigns, concepts and promotional activities to advertise and market products and services
• Identify new distribution channels that will lead to the expansion of AUM and client base for the company
• Keep abreast of investment market intelligence and utilizing knowledge acquired on competitors and their products and services to help, identify and develop company’s unique selling propositions
• Ensure prospects and clients routine and non-routine enquiries and complaints are managed to ensure investors receive appropriate customer care
• Ensure that clients receive regular updates on their portfolios and developments in the industry through emails of research and reports

Qualification Required & Experience

• Not less than 5 years working experience in related positions in an investment bank
• MPhil, MBA or EMBA in Marketing or Banking and Finance
• GSE Certificate
• Partly qualified CFA is not a requirement but an advantage

Job Description

Job Title: Fund Accountant

Job Location: Accra

Job Summary

• Keep proper books of accounts and record accurately securities transactions
• Reconcile various accounts to the custodian position and promptly correcting outstanding issues
• Prepare timely and accurate net assets values, yields, distribution and other fund accounting output for subsequent review
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reports to comply with SEc, GRA and other regulatory timelines
• Prepare accurate audit schedules and assist in the audit of the financial statements, of the mutual funds
• Accurately computer monthly and quarterly fees and invoice the clients
• Keep accurate and up to date investment schedules and exposure sheet of issuers

Qualification Required & Experience

• Not less than 5 years working experience in related positions
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, i.e BSC, B.Com etc
• Partly qualified ICAG or ACCA
• Completion of GSI course is an advantage

 

Job Description

Job Title: IT Infrastructure Support Officer

Job Location: Accra

Job Summary

• Administer IT infrastructure to ensure that they run at optimal performance
• Configure PCs, Servers, ATMs, Network and communication devices, operating systems, and basic software packages (Example Anti-viruses, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) are properly configured
• Properly support all the above listed to deliver optimal performance
• Recover the above listed as per indicated times when need be
• Address IT security issues
• Support End Users on PC related issues
• Required to relief help desk officer when need arises
• Follow procedures for completing tasks
• Communicate with vendors on resolution of issues
• Communicate to staff on issues being resolved

Qualification Required & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science
• Microsoft certification (e.g, MCITP, MCTS, MCP, etc) is an advantage
• Strong networking and hardware background would be an advantage
