Job description

Looking for remote Senior PHP developers specialized in designing and developing large-scale web applications is in high demand. You will be responsible for the development of all server-side logic and ensuring highly performant applications. If you are well-versed in writing server-side web applications and linking them to other web services, this is an opportunity to work with industry experts and rise quickly through the ranks.

  • Analyze website and application requirements
  • Write clean, effective back-end code and build efficient PHP modules
  • Develop back-end portals with an optimized database
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate works into the application
  • Troubleshoot application and code issues
  • Integrate data storage solutions
  • Update and alter application features to improve performance
  • Develop and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications
  • Lead the entire web application development life cycle from concept stage to delivery
  • Refactor, optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scalability
  • Collaborate within teams to gather requirements and develop software solutions
  • Keep abreast of new trends and best development practices
  • Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges

Minimum requirements
– Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent
– 3+ years of working experience in development and PHP web frameworks such as Laravel(rare exceptions for highly skilled candidates)
– Knowledge of front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
– Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases
– Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming
– Proficiency in code versioning tools, including Git, CVS, SVN
– Complete attention to database design and administration
– Knowledge of MVC frameworks
– Strong experience in designing robust and scalable APIs
– Fluency in English and good communication skills to collaborate effortlessly

  • Good Knowledge of building or maintaining a CMS
  • Expertise in popular third-party APIs
  • Expand analytical and project management skills
  • Ability to work on priorities in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • Strong data modeling and database skills
  • Experience with software testing and design patterns
  • Familiarity with the limitations of PHP, web server exploits, and their solutions
  • Sound knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and query optimization techniques
  • Experience with PHP MVC frameworks (Symfony, Kohana, etc.)
  • Experience with user authentication and authorization between multiple systems
