2017 Computerized SHS Postings Out; 92% qualified for Placement | The Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) has released the Senior High School placements for candidates of the 2017 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

A total of 424,092 Candidates, representing 92% of the total registered candidates for the exams, qualified for placement.
Out the number, 150,770 candidates could not be placed to schools of their choice.
The CSSPS, however, added that those who could not be placed in School of their choice have been given a second chance to choose a school.
The statement indicated, “during the process, 267,327 candidates secured places in schools of their choice, whilst 150,770 candidates could not be placed in a school of their choice. They are being given the second chance of choosing a school.”
It said qualified students who did not get a school of their choice can go online and select a school of their choice within 48 hours.
A total number of 36,849 ,representing 8%, failed to secure placement because they scored Grade 9 in either English or Mathematics.
