Key Responsibilities

  • Participating as part of an integrated Vodafone Global Enterprise customer solutions team to support top accounts and lead in account planning and strategy for a defined portfolio of strategic VGE accounts
  • Ensure virtual team works collaboratively with all other functions within Vodafone to drive the Vodafone Global Enterprise agenda and ensure alignment with overall business strategy in Ghana.
  • Evaluate performance off accounts and delivers the local “P&L“ for Vodafone Global Enterprise accounts
  • Develop a pipeline of prospects, which are systematically qualified, managing the decision-making process within allocated accounts to ensure sales opportunities are closed.
  • Exercise thought leadership at Board level within the allocated accounts, demonstrating an understanding of the business strategies and communications dependencies of the customer, and presenting the compelling value proposition of Vodafone Global Enterprise.
  • Proactively drive new innovations and concepts to key decision makers within the customer to increase product and service mix within defined customers
  • Ensure integrated channel management, supported by appropriate systems such as 1Salesforce, CRM; use knowledge management to increase the professionalism of account management.
  • Full integration of quality management processes within all sales activities for the allocated accounts, ensuring effective deployment on a day-to-day basis.
  • Be networked: Engage with local influencers and decision makers to assist in local, regional and global growth. Become the go-to person responsible for developing strong long-term relationships with key local decision makers
  • Articulate the customer’s strategic and operational challenges. Apply effective stakeholder management within the customer and Vodafone to map appropriate Vodafone solutions to customer business objectives
  • Ensure full compliance with telecommunications licence provisions, sector regulations and competition laws.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external suppliers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or its equivalent
  • At least five years of enterprise solutions sales experience within technology services andrelationship management (Record of Accomplishment of global accounts/enterprise solution selling) within multi-national companies. Knowledge of mobile data application development, professional services, IT services sales background preferable
  • Experience of identifying customer requirements and developing creative and innovative customer-centric solutions with an international context.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at C-level, network at middle management levels within customer and partner companies, and proven success with relationship management within multinational companies
  • Demonstrated understanding of important financial concepts, the IT&T environments, purchasing practices and industry specific aspects of corporate customers
  • An understanding of corporate governance in complex organisations.
  • Ability to lead and manage an internationally distributed team in a changing environment
  • Demonstrated success in networking at middle management levels (customers and partners) with strong relationship management skills
