TTU Notice on Resumption of Full Working Hours

Reference is made to our earlier notice dated 29th April, 2020 by which Professional/Administrative staff were made to resume partial duties effective Monday, 4th May, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily and the other arrangements therein.

The University, in response to the President’s directive to enable final year students to report on campus to continue their academic work effective Monday, 15th June, 2020 wishes to inform ALL STAFF of the following arrangements:

1. All staff (Teaching & Non-Teaching), Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) and National Service Personnel are to resume to their full working hours effective Monday, 15th June, 2020.

2. Staff are to ensure strict compliance of the COVID-19 safety protocols, including but not limited to the following;

  • Wearing of face masks,
  • Regularly and thoroughly washing of hands with soap under running water before entering any facility on campus,
  • Regularly rubbing hands with alcohol-based sanitizers,
  • Avoiding all forms of body contacts including handshakes and hugs, etc.

3. Faculty Officers and ALL Support Staff are to ensure good sanitation practices and a serene environment for academic work.

4. Staff are advised not to bring their children/wards to the Office or entertain unofficial visitors.

5. Deans, Directors, HoDs, Unit Heads, and Hall Wardens should ensure that adequate provisions (as indicated in our notice circulated earlier dated 8th June, 2020) are made available to receive the final year students.

6. Deans, Directors, HoDs, Unit Heads, and Hall Wardens are also to ensure the strict compliance of the above measures.

7. The Head of Security Section and the staff at the University Health Centre are to ensure that all routine protocols are observed daily.
