National Teaching Council (NTC) In-service Teachers Recruitment 2025
Applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified candidates for National Teaching Council (NTC) In-service Teachers Recruitment 2025.
The National Teaching Council has opened registration for In-service teachers employed in the public or private sector. The purpose of this registration is to introduce every teacher currently in active service to the NTC Teacher Portal Ghana (TPG) which will serve as the online hub for all continuous professional development activities and licensing. The registration will also provide NTC an updated database of all teachers in the country.
Every teacher across the country is advised to use this lockdown period to familiarize him or herself with the NTC TPG web portal
Please follow the instructions below to get started.
Requirements to register online for public teachers (teachers employed by GES):
- An active email address (create one if you do not have).
- SSNIT number
- Staff ID
- Scanned passport picture for upload (optional).
- Scanned evidence of professional training –Teacher Cert A, Diploma, PGDE, B.Ed, M.Ed, MPhil, PhD (as PDF, PNG or JPEG).
- Scanned first appointment letter (as PDF, PNG or JPEG).
Requirements to register for private teachers:
- An active email address (create one if you do not have).
- SSNIT number.
- Scanned passport picture for upload (optional).
- Scanned evidence of professional training –Teacher Cert A, Diploma, PGDE, B.Ed, M.Ed, MPhil, PhD (as PDF, PNG or JPEG).
- Scanned appointment letter (as PDF, PNG or JPEG).
How to Apply
Steps for online registration:
Go to https://tpg.ntc.gov.gh/ via a web browser on a PC.
Click “Register Now” to create an account or log in to an existing account.
Select “Teacher” as account type.
Fill in details and submit.
Open your email account in another browser tab.
Check your email for a confirmation link from NTC TPG.
Follow the instructions on the site to complete your registration.
