Nestlé Ghana Limited started the business in Ghana in 1957 under the trading name of Nestlé Products (Gh) Limited with the importation of Nestlé products such as milk and chocolates. In 1968, it was incorporated as Food Specialties (Gh) Limited to manufacture and market locally well known Nestlé brands. The company became Nestlé Ghana Limited in 1987. In 1971 the production of the IDEAL Milk and MILO started at the Tema Factory. The factory has since been further developed and now also produces CARNATION milk, CHOCOLIM, CHOCOMILO CEREVITA, CERELAC and NESCAFÉ 3 in 1. These products are not only produced for Ghana but also exported across West Africa. In 2003, Nestlé Ghana Ltd invested in a new warehouse, the Central Distribution center, located next to the factory in Tema. The company also runs sales offices with warehouses in Kumasi, Takoradi, Koforidua, and Tamale. The business activity of Nestlé Ghana Ltd is a direct contribution to the Ghanaian economy. The Functional Assistant will be responsible for providing efficient and professional administrative support services to the Market Head to ensure the optimization of time, planning and organization of logistics for events (adding value to the business).

This role is a highly sensitive role with visibility and accessibility to senior stakeholders within the CWAR organization. Act as the main point of contact for CWAR HO and for the Markert Head . He/ She will be responsible for Jet Management ( work with the procurement team to source for Jet company and also have discussions) , responsible for all events managements/ project committee member and cordinate with all departmenets on activities .

Role
  • Organize and manage the calendar of the Market Head to ensure efficiency for the Market Head to focus on the business.
  • Anticipate and carry out all relevant administrative tasks (mails, letters, correspondence etc) to ensure the Market Head spends as little time as possible on this area.
  • Take care of the planning, logistics, organization of all events organized by management (meetings, workshops, cocktails, lunches, dinners etc) either alone or in association with others to ensure success
  • Fully manage the travel program, itinerary, and administrative details (invitation letters, visas, passes etc) related with the manager’s trip and that of all manager’s guests to ensure smooth travelling
  • Manage and coordinate the Regional MANCOM held once every two months.
  • Manage the implementation and Sustenance of NQMS requirements in Nestle CWAR and sustain top management commitment.
  • Preparing memos and letters for signatures and mailing as appropriate. Processes notes and other manuscripts
  • Initiating and maintaining an efficient and comprehensive filing and information retrieval system for the Market Head
  • Managing travel for the functional heads by preparing, collating and presenting travels schedules/ dates/ flight bookings/ reports of visits/ processes expense claims for the Market Head.
  • Preparing presentations, writing reports, analyzing data and other information as would be required from time to time.
  • Handle all DF Calls and MARS.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to Speak French and English Fluently.
