Job Title: Mill Shift Supervisor (Job Ref# GHA21006)
Job Description
Plan shift production activities and liaise with maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and safe milling operation during and after shift.
Coordinate the various milling sections and staff to assure efficient utilization of equipment and manpower.
Coordinate and monitor grinding operation to ensure safe working condition and minimum environmental impact
Plan, coordinate, monitor and maintain optimum house- keeping at the various sections and working areas.
Inspect equipment and working areas. Document and initiate the necessary actions on defective equipment for prompt repairs.
Oversee accurate recording of production figures / operating parameters and timely preparation of reports.
Liaise with Packing and Jetty Supervisors to ensure safe and effective management of raw materials and cement storage.
Prepare shift performance report on equipment and effectively hand over to assure continuity.
Plan the shift roaster, appraise and propose needed training for shift personnel and discipline shift personnel.
Other responsibilities as stated in GHACEM OCPS (Operational Control Procedures)
Any function delegated by PE/HoP/PM
Shall be liable and responsible for strict adherence to all IMS policies and procedures which is a shared responsibility for all employees.
Job Requirement
BSc. Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with a 1 year experience or HND Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 3 years relevant experience.
Packing Supervisor (Job Ref# GHA21005)
Job Description
Plan shift dispatch operation and liaise with maintenance & marketing/sales personnel and mill supervisor to ensure efficient and safe despatch operation during and after shift
Coordinate the various dispatch sections and staff to assure efficient utilization of equipment and manpower
Carry out control weighing to assure the quality of dispatch cement with weight within 50±0.5 kg
Coordinate and monitor operation to ensure safe working condition and minimum environmental impact plan
Coordinate, monitor and maintain optimum house- keeping at the various sections and working areas
Inspect equipment and working areas. Document and initiate the necessary actions on defective equipment for prompt repairs.

Mill Control Room Technician (Job Ref# GHA21004)
Job DescriptionÂ
Coordinate and monitor the activities of Feed Table / Bunker /Tunnel Attendants and Wheel Loader Operators to ensure optimum filling of bunkers and feeding mills
Monitor milling parameters and adjust them in consultation with the mill supervisor
Properly fill in mill log sheets and file them appropriately
Liaise with the quality control personnel, interpret MPIs (Mill Performance Indicators) and adjust milling parameters accordingly, in consultation with the mill supervisor, to ensure that quality standards are met
Assist the mill supervisor in maintaining discipline and good team spirit, and promoting effective communication among team and other staff

Warehouse/Stores Supervisor (Job Ref# GHA21003)
Job description
Lead the warehouse team
Organize and maintain orderliness in the warehouse and other inventory storage locations
Ensure prompt documentation of all warehouse transactions.
Communicate job expectations and coach employees
Effective coordination of inventory transaction between stores, purchasing and other user departments
Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
Set-up and maintain minimum / maximum stock levelsÂ
Generate requisition to replenish stock
Plan and lead team during mid and year end stock take
 Periodically identify and remove obsolete spares from stock
Strict adherence to all IMS policies and procedures which is a shared responsibility for all employees.
Job Requirements
Prior experience in spare parts inventory management is a pre-requisite,
Demonstrate a good knowledge in warehouse management concepts
Knowledge of Inventory Control Strategies
Knowledge of a computerized inventory management system is desirable
Ability to lead a team to efficiently manage and run a high value inventory (spare parts and consumables) warehouse
Qualification:Â Either
A degree in Supply Chain Management or its equivalent
A degree in any Engineering discipline
Mechanical Technician (Job Ref# GHA21002)
Job description
Perform preventive maintenance on all mechanical equipment.
Ensure that mechanical equipment are maintained to the highest standard to ensure continuous operation,
Repair and perform preventive maintenance as per schedule
Resolve problems associated with the operation of heavy industrial equipment, mechanical conveying systems
Shall be liable and responsible for strict adherence to all IMS standards and practices in the performance of assigned tasks
Troubleshoot and resolve all anomalies in relation to mechanical equipment’s operation.
Ability to interpret mechanical engineering drawing
Job Requirements
Minimum MET III or HND with 3 years working experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time
Knowledge in electro-Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Ability to use handheld tools and lifting gears to perform various task
Understanding of industrial lubrication concepts
knowledge of Microsoft office suits.

Electrical Technician / Shift Technician (Job Ref# GHA21001)
Job Description
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical machines
Monitors and performs corrective action when necessary on electrical equipment and installation.
Carries out troubleshooting of all electrical faults and resolve them as quick as possible.
Liaise with other sections/departments to ensure optimum running of the Plant.
Adhere and comply with all Environmental, Health and safety regulations of the company.
Ensure that all work orders are properly closed and returned to the Planning Section
Any other jobs that may be assigned by the departmental supervisors.
Ability to read and interpret Blueprints/Technical Drawings/Schematics for existing Plant and New Projects
