Job Title: Hospital Midwife & Matron
Responsibilities
- Examining and monitoring pregnant women
- Assessing care requirements and writing care plans
- Carrying out screening tests
- Providing information, emotional support and reassurance to women and their partners
- Taking patient samples, pulses, temperatures and blood pressures
- Caring for and assisting women in labour
- Monitoring and administering medication, injections and intravenous infusions during labour
- Monitoring the foetus during labour
- Advising about and supporting parents in the daily care of their newborn babies
- Helping parents to cope with miscarriage, termination, stillbirth and neonatal death
- Writing records
- Tutoring student midwives/nurses
- Identifying high-risk pregnancies
- Deliver babies and provide antenatal and postnatal advice, care and support to women, their babies, their partners and families.
- Monitoring and examining pregnant women and making the necessary referral
- Managing labour, conducting deliveries and immediate care of the newborn;
- Giving support and advice on the daily care of the baby, including breastfeeding, bathing and making up feeds
- Conversant with modern equipment to aid in conducting delivery safely
- Organising antenatal clinic for clients
- May perform other related duties such as nursing
- Keeping accurate records of activities to meet Ghana Health Service standards
- Effectively communicating to clients and their relatives
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualification: Diploma (Degree Nurse with a diploma in midwifery is a plus)
- Experience Level: Senior level
- Experience Length: 5 -10 years. At least 3 years should be in Supervisory position
- Registered with nursing and midwifery council and of good Standing.
- Might have supervised midwives/nurses before in a reputable health facility
- Able to perform and supervise basic nursing functions
- Previous working experience in a private health facility is an added Advantage
- Being a retired midwife is an added advantage
Job Title: Hospital Administrator
- Contributes to driving a customer-first orientation throughout our facilities.
- Responsible for the efficient day-to-day running of the hospital and its facilities.

- Responsible for talent development & employee engagement.

- Demonstrable people management skills, high impact customer service orientation, financial planning, and organizing skills
- A bachelor’s/master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience at a healthcare facility in a Hospital Administrator role (preferred).
- Good knowledge of medical terminology and Health regulations.
Job Title: Pharmacist & Pharmacy Assistant/Technician
Responsibilities
- Organize the pharmacy to keep it running smoothly
- Stock and label medicine and other pharmaceutical products
- Execute physician’s medicament prescriptions
- Provide advice to customers
- Prepare medicine by applying the appropriate dosages for each individual case
- Keep and update patients records
- Keep abreast with new research and advancement in medicine and pharmacy field
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
- Oversee and supervise staff and team members working with Pharmacy
- Adhere to all relevant legal, health and safety rules and regulations
- Degree/Training with at least 3 to 5 working experience
Job Title: Medical Officer/Medical Doctor
Responsibilities
- Provides out-patients care and refer appropriately outside area of specialty
- Participates as a member of the Medical Team in providing care, monitoring and evaluation of patients on admission
- Prepares doctors notes as well as discharge notes
- Provides weekend coverage as per approved schedule
- Assists with doing medicals and preparing reports for patients.
- Liaises with relevant departments in ensuring optimum care to clients/patients
- Participates in quality improvement programs and or activities.
- Assists perform surgical operations/clinical procedures within identified competency
- Provides support and information to patients/relatives as and when necessary.
- Conducts/participates in: Ward Rounds, Clinical meetings
- Participates in district and community health programs as and when required
- Be actively involved in the issues of infection prevention and control.
- Ensures compliance with the hospital and departmental policies and procedures by team members.
- Performs any other duty that may be assigned by management from time to time
- MB ChB or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years post housemanship
- Fully valid License to practice in Ghana with the Medical and Dental Council
- Continuous Professional Training across a wide range of clinical issues
- Good practice in Outpatient and inpatient care.
- Knowledge of health and safety techniques
- Basic surgical skills
- Supervisory skills
- Advanced life support/resuscitation skills
- Report writing and presentation skill
- Analytical and problem-solving skill
- Ability to initiate and maintain clear, concise documentation.
