Airswift is recruiting for a Site Security Contact in Ghana.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Have a clear understanding of, and be trained in client’s OMIS requirements and ensure compliance with OIMS for all security related systems and processes in the Venture Offices
• Ensure compliance with reporting into IMPACT and assist with the identification of Security Contractors, scope of work and assist with the enabling process
• Act as point of contact for issues regarding background screening requirements for contractors
• Liaise with local law enforcement and other security related authorities, key embassies and partner companies to gather and share security information and intelligence and maintain active working relationship with GS Advisor
• Responsible for the drafting, planning and implementation of all security related emergency response, procedures and general security related procedures, procedural reviews and updates and all corresponding drills
• Review and amend any and all security related procedure. Ensure security upgrades are consistent with escalating threat condition requirements (threat matrix) and draft and implement all site security plans for site specific needs
• Set up the venture office, screen suppliers and test capabilities, and represent client in country until country manager is in place
• Lead the hiring and development, training and management of security personnel

Qualification Required & Experience

• Act as point of contact for venture office communication of intelligence and alerts with appropriate dissemination to VO leadership, employees and or contractors
• Conduct security incident based investigations as required and coordinate security incident reporting and lesson learned sharing
• Ensure reporting of threat information to the Global Security Advisor and functional security Manager as appropriate
• Advise on and implement Executive Protection Program for required visitors
• Act as a local emergency support group advisor
• Military experience in hostile locations, including marine operations
