Vodafone Ghana Foundation Scholarship at UEW 2018/2019

Applicants are invited to apply for Vodafone Ghana Foundation Scholarship for female students. The scholarship is awarded in the fields of Science ICT, and mathematics.

The aim of the scholarship is to increase women’s engagement in Science and Technology in Ghana.

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) is a University in Winneba, Central Region of Ghana. Its main aim is to train teachers for the education system of Ghana.

Course Level: The scholarship is available to pursue Science ICT, and mathematics courses.

Study Subject: The scholarship is awarded in the fields of Science ICT, and mathematics.

Scholarship Award: The scholarship will cover the following:

• The 3-year scholarship scheme.

Scholarship can be taken in Ghana

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Ghanaian residents in Ghana at the time of the application
• Year 1 students of the University of Education, Winneba studying any of the above courses at UEW
• Engaged in one or more extra-curricular activity in the University
• Not on a different scholarship
• Demonstrating steady progression in their academic work
• Able to demonstrate a clear financial need for the scholarship

Nationality: Female Ghanaian applicants are eligible for the scholarship.
