The Local Government Service is a public Service institution established by the Local Government Service Act, 2003 (Act 656) which has been repealed and replaced with the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936). The Service exists ‘’to secure effective administration and management of the decentralised local government system in the country’’.

Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Catering Officer (Serial No. OHLGS 8)

Job Purpose: To provide frontline services for catering service delivery

Accountability: The Assistant Catering Officer shall report to the Head of Catering.
Department/Unit.

Remuneration: The Assistant Catering Officer is a Certificate/Diploma position with salary

level SSSP 14L and other attractive fringe benefits.

Required Skills or Experience

Certificate/Diploma in Catering from a recognized institution
