Medical Examination for first year students for the 2021/2022 academic year is scheduled to start on 10/01/22. The schedule and procedure for the examinations are outlined below.

Schedule

There are two centers for the exercise. Examinations start at 7.00 am and ends at 5.00 pm daily except Sundays. Examination Centres are:
1. Students’ Clinic (Number 3 Asuogya road, adjacent Hall 7) | Get directions
2. Faculty of Social Sciences, New block | Get directions

Procedure

1. Go online at https://apps.knust.edu.gh/admissions/medicals and fill a medical questionnaire
2. Proceed to the medical examination center of your choice as enumerated above.
3. At the Centre register with your student / reference number
4. Proceed to the nurse’s station
5. Go to the Laboratory station to have your blood sample taken for a Sickling Test to be done.
6. For Ghanaian students, make payment for a chest x-ray examination and proceed to the X-ray station to take the x-ray.
7. For International Students no payment of X-ray fees will have to be done as this is included in your school fees. Please bring along a copy of your admission letter as proof of your international student status.
8. Proceed to consulting room to see the doctor.

Requirements

Only students who have paid their school fees and have been cleared by the finance office will be medically examined. Students must have a valid National Health Insurance Card.

For those who don’t have a National Health Insurance (including International Students), Agents of the National Health Insurance Authority  (NHIA) will be present in the Hospital and the Students’ clinic to register students at the prescribed fee of the NHIA.

The Medical Examination will entail the taking of a chest X-ray. This can be done at the centre of the medical examination at a fee of GH¢60.

As part of measures to reduce the spread of Covid -19 in the University Community, all are entreated to adhere strictly to the COVID-19 protocols (Wearing of Face Mask, social distancing, hand washing and use of sanitizers).

All students must come to the medical examination Centre with their Covid-19 vaccination card (or a soft copy).

Students who have not received or completed their COVID -19 vaccination can have their vaccination done at the University Hospital and the designated sites of the medical examination.

      I was having the same difficult but am through now.
      Its Simple if you can follow the steps am about to outline here.
      1.)
      Search for”KNUST Password “on any browser you have.

      2.)
      Tap on the first page (KNUST password reset).

      3.)
      A pop-up menu will be demanding your Pin, fill in and hit the “continue option at the bottom of the next page.

      4.) A password reset option will be sent to your e-mail address. Click on “here” and follow the reset options .
      YOU ARE THROUGH.

  2. User Name and Password. Totally confused . This time around we are not using the Students ID/Pin. Help

    I can’t log in because I don’t know what password it’s demanding
