The Mechanical Technician is to co-ordinates the overall performance of the utilities plants to ensure 100% utilities and Brewing availability.

Job Description

Job Title: Mechanical Technician Engineer

PURPOSE

Maximise the operation, performance and maintenance of all utilities and Brewing Equipment and to provide uninterrupted utilites supply to the site ad to achieve set targets,

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

HND Engineering.
A minimum of 3 year experience in maintenance engineering in food or drink manufacturing environment.
Proven first line management skills

Research skills

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Manage and ensure uninterrupted supply of good quality water, steam, CO2, refrigeration and compressed air to the brewery to achieve AOP in conformance with all engineering, statutory and safety standards.

Manage the efficient operation of the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP).
Achieve 100% conformance to Safety, Statutory and Engineering and Risk Management Standards.
Ensure that Statutory or Planned Insurance Inspection of Pressure Vessels and mechanical handling equipment are carried out
Develop and execute PM schedules to achieve maximum maintenance effectiveness
Administer the execution of maintenance projects, Breakdown Maintenance and minor works to ensure improved plant efficiency
Sustain effective communication in the department through logs and performance boards, sectional meetings and reporting.
Provide input into Weekly maintenance and daily operational Reviews
