Ghana Immigration Service Recruitment Portal 2022/2023 | Application Guidelines and Procedures

Carefully read through the Ghana Immigration Service entry recruitment and instructions on this page before proceeding to apply for Ghana Immigration Service enlistment.

Make your decisions and take note of all required data in the subsequent steps. Visit the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) Recruitment Portal via http://www.gisrecruitments.com/

• Click on the Apply Now tab and enter the e-voucher serial and pin code details.
• Select your highest educational level. Select preferred branch and enter your Bio and Educational data and upload a passport sized picture of dimension (200×180) pixels before submitting.
• Print out a copy of the application summary report, which contains details of your Applicant Identification (ID Number) and other relevant data.
• Once the application is successfully submitted you can come back before the closing date to print your summary report with help of the card purchased.

Ghana Immigration Service RECRUITMENT E-VOUCHERS

1. The first step in applying is to purchase an Electronic Voucher at a cost of One Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢ 100.00) from the various branches of the GCB Bank Ltd across the country.

After the purchase of the E-Voucher, the applicant must go on-line using the address: http://www.gisrecruitments.com/ to fill in all the required information.

Applicants must note that they must enter the serial number of the voucher and fill out the online application . Upload a passport size photograph and click to submit.

Ghana Immigration Service RECRUITMENT – SCREENING AND EXAMINATION – Shortlisted applicants will be contacted by e-mail for Screening and Examination at the Screening Centre selected during the online application

GIS RECRUITMENT TRAINING Only applicants who are successful in the Screening Examination will be invited for training.

Ghana Immigration Service General Requirements for non Graduates

All candidates are to satisfy the following requirements:

• Must be a Ghanaian citizen by birth with no criminal record.
• Must hold SSSCE/WASSCE Certificate with Five (5) credits including English Language and a pass in Mathematics.
• Must be of a minimum age of 18 and not more than 26.
• Must be physically and medically fit.
• Must be of good character.
• Must not be bonded.
• Must have a minimum height of 1.73metres (5ft 8inch) for Males and 1.63 metres (5ft 4inch) for Female.

Ghana Immigration Service General Requirements for Graduates

All candidates are to satisfy the following requirements:

• Must be a Ghanaian citizen by birth with no criminal record.
• Must possess a first Degree not below a Second Class Lower in Social Sciences/Humanities from an accredited University.
• Must have completed his/her National Service.
• Must be computer Literate.
• Must be of a minimum age of 21 and not more than 28 years.
• Must be physically and medically fit.
• Must be of good character.
• Must not be bonded.
• Must have a minimum height of 1.73metres (5ft 8inch) for Males and 1.63 metres (5ft 4inch) for Female.
• Have Five/5 Credits in subjects (Not less than grade 6) at BECE including English and a Pass in Mathematics. • Have Five/5 Credits in subjects (Not less than grade C6) at SSSCE/WASSCE including English and a Pass in Mathematics.
